You can stop Halo Pro renewing at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Outside your statutory rights we don't give partial or pro-rata refunds for time already paid. Cooling-off cancellation and faulty-product remedies are separate rights, explained below, and nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
Who provides Halo and handles purchases.
Halo is provided by DoubleO Lab Ltd (company number 17389244), Flat 329 Crescent House, Golden Lane Estate, London, England, EC1Y 0SN. Contact support@doubleolab.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for Pro purchases and processes payments and refunds. This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions; your transaction is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms, and where mandatory law or those terms give you stronger rights, those rights prevail.
Stop your subscription renewing.
Cancel through the Account panel in Halo, the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt, or by emailing support@doubleolab.com; you can also manage the purchase at paddle.net. Cancel before your next renewal to prevent that payment, and keep the confirmation. After ordinary cancellation, Pro stays available until the paid period ends and then stops renewing. Uninstalling Halo, signing out or disconnecting Search Console does not cancel your subscription. If an email cancellation reached us before renewal but wasn't actioned in time, contact us and we'll correct any resulting charge.
Ordinary refunds.
Outside an applicable cooling-off right, a faulty-product remedy, an entitlement under Paddle's terms or another legal or contractual right, we do not normally refund a billing period that has begun, or give a pro-rata refund for unused time. We will investigate duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charges and help arrange any refund due. If we discontinue Pro or materially reduce paid functionality without a reasonable equivalent during your prepaid term, you may end the affected subscription and request a proportionate refund for the unused affected period; this does not restrict a stronger remedy available by law.
Cooling-off rights.
Consumers in the UK and EEA generally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract, subject to applicable exceptions and conditions; other countries may provide withdrawal rights too, and a business purchase does not automatically carry consumer cooling-off rights. Simply installing Halo, signing in or starting to use Pro does not by itself waive a statutory cancellation right. For digital content supplied during a cancellation period, losing that right requires the applicable express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation; for services, starting performance does not by itself end the right — full performance and the required request and acknowledgement are relevant, and a proportionate charge for services supplied before cancellation applies only where the law permits and the required information and request were provided.
Exercising a withdrawal or refund right.
Tell us clearly that you wish to withdraw from your purchase or request a refund by emailing support@doubleolab.com; you can also use the support or transaction link in your Paddle receipt, or paddle.net. Include your account email, purchase date and order reference if you have them; you don't have to give a reason to exercise an unconditional statutory withdrawal right. An ordinary cancellation of future renewal is different from unwinding a purchase — if you want to exercise a cooling-off right, please say so. You may use this wording, though you don't have to: “I give notice that I withdraw from my Halo Pro purchase. Account email: ____. Order reference: ____. Purchase date: ____. Name and address: ____. Date of notice: ____.”
Faults and products not as described.
Contact support@doubleolab.com if Pro doesn't work as described; tell us the feature affected, your Chrome version and how to reproduce it, and please don't send passwords or access tokens. Depending on the law and circumstances, remedies may include repair, replacement, repeat performance, a price reduction or a refund, and these rights are not limited to the cooling-off period. A disclaimer about SEO outcomes does not remove your rights when the product itself is faulty or materially misdescribed.
Processing and access after a refund.
Paddle processes approved refunds to your original payment method where possible; applicable legal deadlines take precedence over ordinary estimates, and your bank may take extra time to show the credit. Where a refund unwinds the purchase or ends the subscription, the corresponding Pro access ends; where a partial refund is agreed without ending access, we'll explain the remaining entitlement. Free account access is separate unless the account is closed for a valid reason.
Questions and complaints.
Contact support@doubleolab.com, or raise a billing issue with Paddle at paddle.net. Please tell us if you think a cancellation or refund request has been handled incorrectly. Nothing in this policy restricts your lawful right to dispute a charge, seek advice or pursue a legal remedy.
